Cognitive & problem-solving activities
Structured puzzles can support visual attention, planning, spatial reasoning and fine-motor control.

Rhythm, imitation & interaction
Music-based play can create opportunities for turn-taking, attention, imitation and shared enjoyment.

Language & shared reading
Books and pictures can be used to build vocabulary, comprehension, sequencing and conversation.

Individual learning support
Tasks can be adapted to the child's current level, pace and learning style.
Play is the method; the goal remains specific.
A therapy activity is chosen because it gives the child a meaningful opportunity to practise a target skill. The same toy or game may serve different goals for different children.
For example, a puzzle may be used for fine-motor control, visual matching, communication, waiting, turn-taking or following instructions.
